  • Local Outreach

Local missions and evangelism takes place primarily in the Tri Cities area, although some work extends beyond this immediate area.  In addition, the church is a member and supporter of the Columbia Baptist Basin Association (a part of the Southern Baptist Convention) that focuses on evangelism in southeastern Washington and northeastern Oregon. Beyond these areas the church supports missions through the North American Mission Board.

Some of the local work of the church includes the following:

  • International Outreach

The church participates in International Missions through short-term mission trips to countries such as Guatemala, Brazil, and Costa Rica. These efforts have included Bible distribution, home-to-home visitation, “Jesus Film” presentation, and maintenance of missions’ buildings.

The church also supports a broad range of International Missions work through the International Mission Board, an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention. These ministries include medical outreach, meeting physical needs, evangelism, discipleship training, and starting new churches. A special offering, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, is collected each year to add support to thousands of missionaries.
